Experts recommend shaving after your shower. Prepare a small, wet, hot towel and apply to the face for one minute. The heat and moisture will prime skin and soften hair for a closer shave.
1. The hot e way. First lightly rub a small amount of eShave PreShave Oil to prime skin. It provides a great "razor-glide" effect.
2. For the ideal shave, a dab of eShave Shave Cream or Soap is all you need. eShave recommends running the eShave brush under warm water, then dipping it lightly into your shave cream jar, or whisking the brush over the soap surface. Using a sharp blade, glide the eShave razor over prepared skin in the direction of hair growth. For stubborn hair, reapply shave cream and repeat shaving in a sideways motion, using small strokes to prevent irritation. Around the neck area, where hair grows in different directions, run fingers along neck to feel and follow the pattern.
4. Address any nicks with eShave Alum Block: run warm water over the stone, and apply to affected area to stop bleeding instantly.
5. Just the essentials. To cleanse skin and close pores, simply cool the Alum Block with cold water and lightly run it over freshly shaved skin.
